From the Desk of Norm Mindel: Forum Named an Elite Firm by the Financial Times

Published 08/24/2018

Forum Financial Management was founded more than 15 years ago with the idea of creating something extraordinary. We envisioned a boutique firm with a deep bench of partners and advisors with experience across portfolio management, retirement planning and income tax planning. We ignored the rule about making no small plans because we wanted to concentrate on building strong client relationships.

The founding partners believed a fee-based firm would ensure we were always on the same side of the table with our clients’ interests. When we discovered an investment philosophy that made sense and would help investors reach their financial goals, our vision became reality.

Having formed something true to ourselves and for our clients, we wanted to share all that we had learned through our collective experiences, so we adapted our small plan into a much larger one. Whether business, family or personal achievements, all of us wish to leave a legacy.

For our firm to grow, Forum would need talented partners, advisors and associates. Along the way, we have added to our team of advisors and next-generation talent in our home office and in more than 20 offices around the country.

In June, Forum was named one of 300 elite advisor firms by the Financial Times. We are proud to see Forum acknowledged in this way. The recognition reflects the commitment of our entire team and the fortitude of our clients who inspire us with their grace under pressure and sense of purpose.

Third-party rankings and recognition from rating services or publications are no guarantee of future investment success. Working with a highly rated advisor does not ensure that a client or prospective client will experience a higher level of performance or results. These ratings should not be construed as an endorsement of the advisor by any client nor are they representative of any one client’s evaluation. Generally, ratings, rankings and recognition are based on information prepared and submitted by the advisor.

The Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers is an independent listing produced annually by the Financial Times (June 2018). The FT 300 is based on data gathered from RIA firms, regulatory disclosures, and the FT’s research. The listing reflected each practice’s performance in six primary areas: assets under management, asset growth, compliance record, years in existence, credentials and online accessibility. This award does not evaluate the quality of services provided to clients and is not indicative of the practice’s future performance. Neither the RIA firms nor their employees pay a fee to The Financial Times in exchange for inclusion in the FT 300.
